Veco launches four new AI features for agents

Property software provider, Veco, has launched four new AI features within its Ask Veco assistant, designed to reduce repetitive administration for estate and letting agents.

Available to Veco Plus customers across the UK, the tools cover compliance documents, supplier invoices, repair reporting and applicant matching, helping teams handle routine tasks within their existing system.

The Compliance Assistant extracts key information from Gas Safety Certificates, EPCs and EICRs, including expiry dates and certificate numbers. Once approved by an agent, it files documents against the relevant property, sets the next due date and can close related works orders.

The Supplier Invoice Helper reads invoices in different formats, identifies the relevant managed property, checks for duplicates and extracts details including VAT and nominal codes. Agents approve the information before invoices are posted.

The Repair Assistant allows tenants to report problems around the clock through a conversational self-service tool. It gathers further details and photos, then creates a repair record with a summary and transcript. It can also flag issues that may be the tenant’s responsibility, such as replacing bulbs or fuses.

Meanwhile, Applicant Matching compares applicants with properties using criteria including budget, bedrooms and location, alongside less structured requirements such as whether pets are permitted. Agencies can set their own priorities, with each match receiving a score and explanation.

Richard Murray (main image, centre), CEO of Veco, said: “Agents don’t need AI to make decisions for them. They’re accountable for compliance and for their clients’ money, so they need AI that does the reading and the typing, then hands the decision back.

“That’s how we’ve designed Ask Veco. Whether it’s a certificate, an invoice or a repair report, the AI does the groundwork and the agent makes the final call.”

Veco said its UK team will provide training and onboarding support to customers using the new features.
